Ted's main talk at Buzzwords was about how real-time aggregation and learning can work with Storm and MapR. In addition, he described how this can be extended to real-time learning for A/B testing. Source code for these experiments can be found at this link.
In lightning talks later in the day, Ted presented early results for mega-scale clustering to serve a k-nearest neighbor system, follow this link to see those results.
